Bit late as this is the second Day, who else is tuning in and watching this sporting event?
I'm currently watching the Men's Boxing, where the headgear isn't being used as medics said the headgear heightens the risk concussions. There's already been a bust up were a Northern Irish lad had been cut and won the match after wiping a ton of blood from his face. Gotta say, it is much more interesting without the safety equipment!
Also, bit of curiosity, Isle of Man runs as their own nation, that's awesome, but... why don't Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly do the same?

I bet team sky in the tour de pants wished they had put Bradley Wiggins in their squad rather than him heading the English charge in the cycling team pursuit.
But even though the Aussies make a killing at the commonwealth games, I'm not to interested in it.
Read an interesting article about the houses they demolished and the lousy compensation packages given to those who owned their homes that were forcably evicted from them so the athletes village could be built.
Seems to be a given no matter what international sporting competition it is some will lose their homes so facilities can be built

You're literally a mile from me. I'd like your red jacket, they look quite snazzy. Many thanks. :D
I'm doing the Festival 2014 in Glasgow Green, managed to offend the First Minister by comparing his badminton game to a small child and if he'd like a smaller racket to ensure contact with the shuttlecock. :D

It's a pretty sad state of affairs that's happened a lot more recently than say twenty years ago. Almost reminds me of the movie, The Castle.

Lawn bowls can get quite nasty behind the scenes, be on your guard Ashley , if I were you , I would go to the boxing department , and ask them for the now unused head protectors..

Shoutout to the Kiribati lad that won his country their first ever Gold. When he was interviewed he played everyone a song ^-^
