Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Timo Heller made the kick off which started today's match. Anton Mischenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Nonnenbruch, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demjan Sviderskyi got free with Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Gamayun might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Gamayun ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Robert Hofer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Mischenko was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Orest Sobko came free, but Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Gamayun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Gamayun in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ukraine's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Heller came free, but Anton Mischenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Gamayun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Ukraine's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Robert Hofer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Hofer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Mischenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ukraine's Orest Sobko. But to his dismay, Orest Sobko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orest Sobko in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz saved Germany from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Germany's Jonathan Vogel got a free kick in the 46th minute. Germany's Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orest Sobko in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demjan Sviderskyi was the one to do the kick off. Anton Mischenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Heller's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Kamp in the 53rd minute of play forced Ukraine's goalkeeper Anton Mischenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ukraine's Yarema Stoyko was substituted for Orest Sobko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazar Karamushka in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz saved Germany from getting behind. A hard shot 63 in the game by Jochen Kamp from a close distance when the talented Anton Mischenko managed to make a qualified save. Ukraine's players were relieved. In the 66th minute, Roman Gamayun made a precise shot to the right of Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 69 played minutes Ukraine got a freekick which was hit by Arsen Konoplyanka. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Curt Nonnenbruch tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Yarema Stoyko came free, but Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vadym Slyusar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Timo Heller in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anton Mischenko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazar Karamushka in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ukraine's goalkeeper Anton Mischenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
