In the 9th minute, Germany's Ture Juniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jörg Hannemann kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Netherlands's Tadej Pogačar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Brütting in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute Connor Brütting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uwe Birmes got free with Tadej Pogačar in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sixten Gehling took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Connor Brütting during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Connor Brütting. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frenkie de Jong, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Guus Harmsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Oliverio Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 31st minute of play. Cobus Harding hit a great ball. Joop Bakker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverio Kahn having to interfere. Germany's Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Big Diamond in the 73rd minute of play. Tadej Pogačar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Štriker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Manfred Hönisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frenkie de Jong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. Sulo Montaña took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadej Pogačar. Tadej Pogačar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Germany were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
