Israel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dávid Barczi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Armin Frey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gáspár Bódog. That made the score 3-1 in the 44 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Israel made a substitution. Liram Vortman replaced Ner Feld. Gáspár Bódog came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Israel's Ebron Rosenkrantz. But to his dismay, Ebron Rosenkrantz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gáspár Bódog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Frey came free, but Gáspár Bódog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Balázs Benkó fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Balázs Benkó a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Israel booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Benkó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
