Manolito Uquillas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Alford Orr made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolito Uquillas in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alford Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Guy came free, but Corozo Genova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When U21 Australia's Black Death in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jefferson Montero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alford Orr to make any attempt to save it. Ben Markwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corozo Genova having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Guy came free, but Corozo Genova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Ecuador's Aragón Latonero got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Christian Alexander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zack Guy in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corozo Genova saved U21 Ecuador from getting behind. With a little luck, U21 Australia's Alford Orr got control of the ball when Manolito Uquillas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Alexander kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Guy in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corozo Genova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Zack Guy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolito Uquillas in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alford Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Arty Tresise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alford Orr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 40 minutes of play, U21 Ecuador's Christian Alexander made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alford Orr was left in no man's land by his defense there! When U21 Australia's Zack Guy in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zack Guy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to U21 Ecuador getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Roldan Lastra hit a great ball. Alford Orr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Montero went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Manolito Uquillas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. U21 Ecuador made a substitution. Michael Cobreros replaced Roldan Lastra. A collision led to U21 Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Manolito Uquillas hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Kléber Letamendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alford Orr. U21 Australia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Letamendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 67th minute of the match, Black Death tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Corozo Genova saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. U21 Ecuador's Corozo Genova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Christian Alexander took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alford Orr. Alford Orr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. U21 Ecuador's Sergio Covarrubias was substituted for Aragón Latonero. U21 Australia's David Watts was substituted for Carl Matthes. U21 Australia's Kelvin Prince was substituted for Zack Guy. Vitin Melgosa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Kelvin Prince had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corozo Genova. U21 Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kelvin Prince was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Alford Orr came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Ecuador's Christian Alexander. But to his dismay, Christian Alexander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The audience was convinced that Kléber Letamendi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alford Orr was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Mac Macablo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Kléber Letamendi sped through U21 Australia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alford Orr. Jefferson Montero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that U21 Ecuador were the better team. U21 Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
