Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Ee took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Singapore's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jost Pfeffer was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Germany's Jost Pfeffer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Afriz Hock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Joscha Pedersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afriz Hock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Joscha Pedersen came free, but Afriz Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Singapore's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jost Pfeffer took the corner. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafriz Sarangapani in the 14th minute of play. Singapore's Sharizan Vijiaratnam was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joscha Pedersen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Afriz Hock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joscha Pedersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Singapore's goalkeeper Afriz Hock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Kleppinger. Singapore's Afriz Hock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Singapore from getting a goal against them. With his leg Afriz Hock managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Germany's Adrian Kleppinger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Ee in the 31st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorben Kolberg got free with Afriz Hock in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Ee came free, but Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Thorben Kolberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Joscha Pedersen came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joscha Pedersen couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Albert Ee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Germany made a substitution. Ture Werlberger replaced Boris Harm. The wind increased when Joscha Pedersen made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Germany's Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz got control of the ball when Albert Ee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Sarangapani in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thorben Kolberg in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afriz Hock saved Singapore from getting behind. Singapore's Afriz Hock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joscha Pedersen in the 67th minute of play. Adrian Kleppinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Ee. Afriz Hock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Kleppinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Adrian Kleppinger made a precise shot to the right of Afriz Hock. Singapore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Jost Pfeffer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jost Pfeffer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shahiran Wah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Singapore's Alam Ning was substituted for Ang Henderson. A collision led to Singapore getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Shahiran Wah hit a great ball. With a little luck, Germany's Wolf-Rüdiger Anschütz got control of the ball when Albert Ee tried to sneak it across the goal line.
