Spectators: 10302 (Terracing: 7727, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artur Chupryna started the match with the kick off. When Stepan Gudzikevych came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the U21 Ukraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Gudzikevych couldn't finish the play. When Petr Šobáň fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Czech Republic's protests and gave Petr Šobáň a yellow card for diving instead. When Artur Chupryna came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the U21 Ukraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Chupryna couldn't finish the play. Karel Bruckner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víctor Javier Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Karel Bruckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petr Seibert kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Stepan Gudzikevych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Andrej Žampach made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Artur Chupryna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Ukraine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Andrej Žampach was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur Chupryna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Karel Bruckner made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Kostyantyn Verteletskyi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 64 minutes, Karel Bruckner made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Ukraine's Kostyantyn Verteletskyi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Ukraine's Fedir Medin was substituted for Stepan Gudzikevych. If Fedir Medin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Chupryna in the 69th minute of play forced U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Andrej Žampach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Artur Chupryna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Czech Republic's Andrej Žampach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Ukraine made a substitution. Yuriy Nikitenko replaced Pylyp Sagaydak. In the 73rd minute U21 Ukraine were awarded a corner. Stanislav Rakytskyi went to the cornerflag to take it. Fedir Medin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrej Žampach having to interfere. Andrej Žampach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedir Medin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrej Žampach came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Ukraine's Artur Chupryna. But to his dismay, Artur Chupryna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vladimír Sekyra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kostyantyn Verteletskyi made a huge save. Artur Chupryna kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Karel Bruckner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostyantyn Verteletskyi having to interfere. There was no doubt that U21 Ukraine were the better team. U21 Ukraine's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
