Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arsen Boitsan made the kick off which started today's match. Orest Lyakhovych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Knížek, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Daniel Bělohlávek came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the U21 Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Bělohlávek couldn't finish the play. When U21 Ukraine's Arsen Boitsan in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Vavřinec Šeděnka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsen Boitsan in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsen Boitsan got free with Vavřinec Šeděnka in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mykola Kazymyrchyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Vavřinec Šeděnka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Knížek in the 21st minute of play forced U21 Ukraine's goalkeeper Orest Lyakhovych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavřinec Šeděnka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsen Boitsan in the 23rd minute of play. Mykola Kazymyrchyk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vavřinec Šeděnka firmly grabbed it by the left post. U21 Czech Republic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Valeriy Gordienko scored to the left of an out of position Vavřinec Šeděnka, making the score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Mykola Kazymyrchyk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of U21 Czech Republic's Vavřinec Šeděnka. Vavřinec Šeděnka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute of the match, Vitaliy Dordytsya tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vavřinec Šeděnka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsen Boitsan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavřinec Šeděnka saved U21 Czech Republic from getting behind. The supporters of U21 Czech Republic booed when U21 Ukraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriy Gordienko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valeriy Gordienko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Daniel Bělohlávek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Bělohlávek to strike the kick off in the second half. Orest Lyakhovych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Knížek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of U21 Ukraine booed when U21 Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Nechanický didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, U21 Ukraine's Valeriy Gordienko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Orest Lyakhovych made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Daniel Bělohlávek sent off a good shot on target. Vavřinec Šeděnka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mykola Kazymyrchyk's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Arsen Boitsan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Czech Republic's Vavřinec Šeděnka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, U21 Czech Republic's Verner Knížek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. U21 Czech Republic's Šimon Martínek was substituted for Josef Oliva. U21 Czech Republic's Vavřinec Šeděnka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykola Kazymyrchyk in the 78th minute of play. Vavřinec Šeděnka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Dordytsya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mykola Kazymyrchyk struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vavřinec Šeděnka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Ukraine. U21 Czech Republic made a substitution. Jiří Zukal replaced Daniel Bělohlávek. Vavřinec Šeděnka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykola Kazymyrchyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, U21 Ukraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olexandr Afanasenko to maneuver through the defense. Verner Knížek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Orest Sobko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavřinec Šeděnka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Toth during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivo Toth kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. U21 Ukraine's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
