Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ritchie Van Craen got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Monsalvo got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Nafarroa. Ritchie Van Craen might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ritchie Van Craen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, VM HOPVELDEN's Ritchie Van Craen got a free kick in the 7th minute. VM HOPVELDEN's Bruno Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Montrell in the 8th minute of play. Teobaldo Montrell took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Bouman. Bruno Bouman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. VM HOPVELDEN's Bruno Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Dalmai in the 12th minute of play. Bruno Bouman came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Monsalvo's Marcelino Dalmai. But to his dismay, Marcelino Dalmai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 14th minute Teobaldo Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bouman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Bouman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Ekhi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Lisandro Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bouman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, VM HOPVELDEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robby De Cat to maneuver through the defense. Franky Goolen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Marcelino Dalmai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Bouman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Kenn Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, VM HOPVELDEN's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Ekhi came free, but Bruno Bouman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, VM HOPVELDEN's Kenn Martin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Teobaldo Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulino Ekhi scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Bouman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Bouman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. VM HOPVELDEN's Bruno Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Dalmai in the 43rd minute of play. Paulino Ekhi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Bouman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Paulino Ekhi took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Bouman. Bruno Bouman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After the first half Monsalvo were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Nafarroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VM HOPVELDEN getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kenn Martin hit a great ball. Bruno Bouman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Montrell in the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Monsalvo's Teobaldo Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Bouman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The supporters of VM HOPVELDEN booed when Monsalvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Monsalvo's Teobaldo Montrell made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Bouman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the game, Lisandro Nafarroa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Bouman. Lisandro Nafarroa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Bruno Bouman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Dalmai went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute of the match, Marcelino Dalmai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Bouman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lisandro Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Paulino Ekhi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Bouman. The goal made the score 0-11. After 89 played minutes Monsalvo got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Gonzo. In the 91st minute Lisandro Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bouman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by VM HOPVELDEN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelino Dalmai was slow to take the kick. During this time Monsalvo's players had a chance to rest. Marcelino Dalmai made a great header on Monsalvo's corner, it was just that VM HOPVELDEN's Bruno Bouman managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th match minute, VM HOPVELDEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Dierickx to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Lisandro Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bouman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Monsalvo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VM HOPVELDEN throughout the match.
