Seating: 4027, VIP seats: 350) Thailand's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Flo in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Norway got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Egil Sollien. In the 10th minute Emil Berntzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paiboon Permpol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paiboon Permpol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Berntzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paiboon Permpol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Berntzen's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Norway's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tor-Egil Sollien in the 14th minute. The corner led Norway's Tor-Egil Sollien to fire away a dangerous shot which Paiboon Permpol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Norway's Steinar Flo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thailand's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Berntzen in the 22nd minute of play forced Thailand's goalkeeper Paiboon Permpol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paiboon Permpol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Flo in the 24th minute of play. Steinar Flo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paiboon Permpol. Paiboon Permpol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tor-Egil Sollien hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kjell Trengereid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanan Javaus in the 29th minute of play. Thailand's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Flo in the 30th minute of play. Paiboon Permpol came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Norway's Steinar Flo. But to his dismay, Steinar Flo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 35th minute Manotham Chaiket shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Trengereid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Thailand's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Berntzen came free, but Paiboon Permpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Wonsakon Choonama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paiboon Permpol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Flo in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Thailand's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Egil Sollien came free, but Paiboon Permpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48th play minutes Emil Berntzen shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Paiboon Permpol and just under the crossbar into goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Berntzen to make the kick off. A collision led to Thailand getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Chao Sinthubua hit a great ball. When Emil Berntzen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Norway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Berntzen couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match, Sigurd Storhaug got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paiboon Permpol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paiboon Permpol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Egil Sollien, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Steinar Flo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paiboon Permpol. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 64th match minute, Thailand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manotham Chaiket to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes Thailand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tor-Egil Sollien who took care of the corner kick. Norway's Sigurd Storhaug was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paiboon Permpol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emil Berntzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Paiboon Permpol made a huge save. Paiboon Permpol didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Norway's Emil Berntzen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 76th minute, Bjarte Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor-Egil Sollien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Paiboon Permpol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tawat Chaiprakhon fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thailand's protests and gave Tawat Chaiprakhon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Tawat Chaiprakhon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paiboon Permpol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steinar Flo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Thailand's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Berntzen came free, but Paiboon Permpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paiboon Permpol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Egil Sollien in the 85th minute of play. Steinar Flo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paiboon Permpol made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Emil Berntzen sent off a good shot on target. Thailand's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Flo in the 90th minute of play. Norway's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
