Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Mohieddine Ayari struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Charles Brown didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tunisia. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Brahem in the 5th minute of play. Zine Bourchada lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tunisia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Anis Achour had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Scott Garcia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Trinidad & Tobago's Scott Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anis Achour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Stokely Solomon fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidad & Tobago's protests and gave Stokely Solomon a yellow card for diving instead. Stokely Solomon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Brown saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winifred Alleyne in the 18th minute of play forced Tunisia's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Dominic Ramjohn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anis Achour saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes into the game, Haythem Boumnijel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinidad & Tobago the free kick. Anis Achour had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Scott Garcia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Tunisia's goalkeeper Anis Achour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lester Hamel-Smith. Lester Hamel-Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Anis Achour made a huge save. With his leg Anis Achour managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Trinidad & Tobago's Lester Hamel-Smith fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute, Mohieddine Ayari made a precise shot to the right of Charles Brown. Trinidad & Tobago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tunisia's Anis Achour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Tunisia from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Tunisia's goal looked a bit too open when Winifred Alleyne came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lester Hamel-Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Lester Hamel-Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anis Achour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Charles Brown managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Tunisia's Ali Brahem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 57th minute of play. Anis Achour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lester Hamel-Smith's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ali Brahem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunisia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Brahem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Brown breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Mohieddine Ayari took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Charles Brown to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 70th minute of play forced Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Charles Brown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lester Hamel-Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Ali Brahem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominic Ramjohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Anis Achour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lester Hamel-Smith in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anis Achour saved Tunisia from getting behind. Mohieddine Ayari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Charles Brown made a huge save. The Tunisia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tunisia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
