Toto Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vista Alegre's Gustavo Aizprua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Brandao in the 19th minute of play. Andrés Brandao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Aizprua having to interfere. In the 36th minute Andrés Brandao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Aizprua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Brandao in the 37th minute of play forced Vista Alegre's goalkeeper Gustavo Aizprua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrés Brandao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Aizprua had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Andrés Brandao from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 58th minute of the match Garachiné got a corner. Vista Alegre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrés Brandao ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Garachiné's Andrés Brandao slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Aizprua. That made the score 1-5 after 67 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, Vista Alegre's Giancarlo Pinilla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giancarlo Pinilla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vista Alegre protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giancarlo Pinilla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Vista Alegre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garachiné:s goal. The excitement rose when Garachiné's Andrés Brandao after 75 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Vista Alegre's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-6. Elias Urane hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Jonathan Ríos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garachiné's protests and gave Jonathan Ríos a yellow card for diving instead.
