In the 4th minute, Brett Manley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lawrence Pack was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Manley in the 7th minute of play forced ZANGEZUR's goalkeeper Lawrence Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZANGEZUR's Lawrence Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Manley in the 8th minute of play. Edgardo Stallings's late challenge caught a ZANGEZUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Stallings helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Edgardo Stallings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Philladelphia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brett Manley to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Connelly in the 23rd minute of play forced ZANGEZUR's goalkeeper Lawrence Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, DeMarcus Stovall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZANGEZUR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Philladelphia FC the free kick. Warren Ransom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Crum in the 27th minute of play. Lawrence Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Manley in the 33rd minute of play. When Leon Rudolph fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZANGEZUR's protests and gave Leon Rudolph a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Philladelphia FC booed when ZANGEZUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Ferris didn't get a good kick on the ball. DeMarcus Parnell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, ZANGEZUR's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Melvin came free, but Lawrence Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philladelphia FC's Warren Ransom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Crum in the 42nd minute of play. Ralph Stiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Steve Grimes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th match minute, Philladelphia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Grimes to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralph Stiles to make the kick off. Henry Ferris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Ransom having to interfere. Ralph Stiles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lawrence Pack came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralph Stiles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Warren Ransom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Bassett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ZANGEZUR's Lawrence Pack got control of the ball when Wes Connelly tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Philladelphia FC's Wes Connelly ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lawrence Pack. Lawrence Pack yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. ZANGEZUR's Sonny McKay was substituted for DeAngelo Sherrill. Warren Ransom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny McKay in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Vicente Bassett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Warren Ransom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Bassett in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Warren Ransom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Woodrow Cadena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZANGEZUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Woodrow Cadena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Ransom having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Woodrow Cadena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZANGEZUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Woodrow Cadena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Philladelphia FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ZANGEZUR from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
