In the 12th minute Abdelhamid Horr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abderrachid Bourebbou in the 17th minute of play forced Atlantis's goalkeeper Abdel Mami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodil Dziri scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Mami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdel Mami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderrachid Bourebbou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Ahmed Fahima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chih Dahleb. The goal made the score 1-1. Abdel Mami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderrachid Bourebbou in the 34th minute of the match. Abdel Mami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abderrachid Bourebbou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garfield Dream Team's attentive Djamel Belkacem managed to snatch the ball when Salim Amsallem made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Garfield Dream Team's Abdelhamid Horr got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Fahima to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ahmed Ouyahia fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garfield Dream Team's protests and gave Ahmed Ouyahia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlantis booed when Garfield Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Ouyahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garfield Dream Team's Abderrachid Bourebbou got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Kasdi Belloumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlantis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garfield Dream Team the free kick. After 62 played minutes Atlantis got a freekick which was hit by Kasdi Belloumi. Ahmed Ouyahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the game Salim Amsallem made a throw-in which Mohammed Ahmed Sofiane played forward. Garfield Dream Team's Chih Dahleb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Fahima in the 69th minute of play. Chih Dahleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Fahima in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute Abderrachid Bourebbou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menad Zerguelaine hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Chih Dahleb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Fahima in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Kasdi Belloumi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chih Dahleb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Atlantis's goal looked a bit too open when Abderrachid Bourebbou came free, but Abdel Mami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Menad Zerguelaine came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Atlantis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menad Zerguelaine couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Fahima's late challenge caught a Garfield Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Fahima helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlantis getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ahmed Fahima hit a great ball. Salim Amsallem made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ahmed Fahima. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
