Rabah Timsit scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Mami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Houari Rimitti succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. If Rabah Timsit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk made a precise shot to the right of Abdel Mami. Atlantis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 15th minute Abdelkader Merbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdel Mami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Timsit, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 18 played minutes Atlantis got a freekick which was hit by Menad Zerguelaine. A collision led to Atlantis getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Salim Amsallem hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, THE OLD BOYS's Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Mami was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdelaziz Kheyari hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Abdel Mami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkader Merbah in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Mami. Atlantis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 31st minute, Rabah Timsit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE OLD BOYS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Abdel Mami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houari Rimitti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelkader Merbah took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdel Mami. Abdel Mami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Abdel Mami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Timsit in the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Abdelkader Merbah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdel Mami was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Mami. Atlantis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Abdel Mami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Timsit in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rabah Timsit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Atlantis's Abdel Mami got control of the ball when Rabah Timsit tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdel Mami made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hamid Abdessalam sent off a good shot on target. Abdel Mami was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdelkader Merbah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 56 minute of play. Atlantis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Rabah Timsit scored to the left of an out of position Abdel Mami, making the score, 0-10. Rabah Timsits short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Abdel Mami to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, THE OLD BOYS's Salim Mammeri got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in THE OLD BOYS's zone, Kasdi Belloumi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Morceli came out of the goal and Kasdi Belloumi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasdi Belloumi's late challenge caught a THE OLD BOYS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasdi Belloumi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of THE OLD BOYS booed when Atlantis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasdi Belloumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelkader Merbah took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdel Mami. Abdel Mami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Abdel Mami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE OLD BOYS. In the 82nd minute, Abdelkader Merbah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdel Mami. The goal made the score 0-14. Abdel Mami made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rabah Timsit sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdel Mami. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. In the 90th minute, Hamid Abdessalam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdel Mami was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. In the 92nd minute, Fathi Ben Khalidi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. THE OLD BOYS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
