Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Reis kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Angai's Artur Bueno got a free kick in the 4th minute. Edmílson Novaess short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jorginho Proença to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Velasco in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorginho Proença saved Tinguis from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Duarte Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, João Paulo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, José Carlos do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorginho Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmílson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tinguis's Jorginho Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Tinguis from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Jorginho Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angai and the Tinguis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorginho Aparecido hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Alex Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jaime Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Rubens Lira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Angai's Jaime Souza. Jaime Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tinguis's Jorginho Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Velasco in the 37th minute of play. If Rubens Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Angai getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Artur Bueno hit a great ball. After the first half Tinguis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Paulo Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Rubens Lira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tinguis's Jorginho Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Velasco in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Reis in the 60th minute of play forced Angai's goalkeeper Jaime Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Tinguis's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Velasco came free, but Jorginho Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edmílson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Souza having to interfere. Rubens Lira struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jaime Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinguis. Jaime Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Lira in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tinguis had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
