The supporters of Vista Alegre F.C booed when STARK EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Eusébio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, STARK EC's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Almeida came free, but Eusébio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vista Alegre F.C's Franklin Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre F.C from getting a goal against them. If Abelardo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Meira struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. The goalkeeper, Franklin Dracena, was totally fooled by STARK EC's Jean Penha, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
