Anderson Arósio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Geraldo Baiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cacá Prata was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Futuro Zero F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tadeu Luz hit a great ball. Ademir Proença came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZEIRO S.A's Marcos Couto. But to his dismay, Marcos Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ademir Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Schmidt in the 38th minute of the match. Ademir Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Schmidt in the 43rd minute of play. Ademir Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Teodoro de Barros hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ademir Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRUZEIRO S.A's Cacá Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Sá in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Couto got free with Ademir Proença in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
