Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilton Rocha made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, Megafuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Silva to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Michel Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fábio Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Eduardo Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Megafuts FC and the Maia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Megafuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Melo to maneuver through the defense. Tony Ribeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raphael Mazza. Megafuts FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Duarte Silva's late challenge caught a Maia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Silva helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes, Maia FC's Alfredão Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raphael Mazza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maia FC reached it. With a little luck, Maia FC's Fábio Corrêa got control of the ball when Gilson de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raphael Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Ribeiro in the 24th minute of play. Megafuts FC's Raphael Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio França in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Rocha in the 29th minute of play forced Megafuts FC's goalkeeper Raphael Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Megafuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Rocha came free, but Raphael Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton Rocha in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Maia FC's corner Tony Ribeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raphael Mazza quite easily take care of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Wilton Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raphael Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, Maia FC's Wilton Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Megafuts FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Duarte Silva hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Gilson de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Hermínio França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Raphael Mazza made a huge save. Tony Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 54 minutes, Hermínio França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Wilton Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael Mazza, 0-3. Tony Ribeiro scored 0-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson de Queirós in the 64th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Maia FC's Raphael Mazza threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilton Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Gilson de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fábio Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Megafuts FC's goalkeeper Raphael Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio França. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Ribeiro in the 86th minute of play forced Megafuts FC's goalkeeper Raphael Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilton Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Raphael Mazza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fábio Corrêa came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Megafuts FC's Gilson de Queirós. But to his dismay, Gilson de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Raphael Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Ribeiro went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. Maia FC played a much better game than Megafuts FC and deserved their victory. The Megafuts FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
