In the 4th minute, Gabriel Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pangarés FC's zone, Dráuzio Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Dante came out of the goal and Dráuzio Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pangarés FC's Mané Corrêa got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marquinhos Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabiano Tróia's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Luís Paulo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Moraes in the 14th minute of play. Luís Paulo Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilian Moraes went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute Dráuzio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Luís Paulo Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pangarés FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Pangarés FC's Luís Fabiano Tróia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Luís Fabiano Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pangarés FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Tróia couldn't finish the play. Edmílson Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marquinhos Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Santana in the 30th minute of play forced Oiticica FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Tróia in the 33rd minute of play forced Oiticica FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Dráuzio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Prata hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Pinheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luís Paulo Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute of the match Mané Corrêa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marquinhos Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilian Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Luís Paulo Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oiticica FC. A hard shot 56 in the game by Dráuzio Pinheiro from a close distance when the talented Luís Paulo Dante managed to make a qualified save. Pangarés FC's players were relieved. Leandro Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute of the match Edmílson Botelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marquinhos Sena skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Alberto Barros's late challenge caught a Pangarés FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oiticica FC's Carlos Alberto Barros got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes, Ricardinho Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oiticica FC and the Pangarés FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardinho Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marquinhos Sena came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Pangarés FC's Luís Fabiano Tróia. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 78 played minutes Oiticica FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Barros. Luís Fabiano Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Luís Fabiano Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilian Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oiticica FC's Ricardinho Tavares got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Ricardinho Tavares off the ground. 91 minutes into the match, Oiticica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Tróia came free, but Marquinhos Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Moraes's late challenge caught a Pangarés FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Despite being the better team, Pangarés FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
