The AGE Guarany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Rajado's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Jurdan came free, but Afonsinho da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AGE Guarany getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Beto de Lara hit a great ball. Rajado's Egídio Fernandes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AGE Guarany. Kléberson Queiroz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Rajado's Hortêncio Costa threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Zanette, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giuseppe Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, AGE Guarany's Hortêncio Costa got control of the ball when Celso Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rajado's Jean Nunes got a free kick in the 39th minute. Virgílio Toscano scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Rajado from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Jurdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Afonsinho da Mata made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Gerber in the 62nd minute of play forced Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AGE Guarany's Giuseppe Gerber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Afonsinho da Mata. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. If Celso Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Gerber in the 73rd minute of play. Celso Zanette took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Costa. Hortêncio Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 78 minutes into the match, Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Jurdan. In the 79th minute, AGE Guarany's Baldomero Jurdan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonsinho da Mata. Afonsinho da Mata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Celso Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Luizinho Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Cristiano Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AGE Guarany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rajado the free kick. Cristiano Félix hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AGE Guarany walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
