Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5738, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 153) Rui Vander took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonsinho da Mata. Afonsinho da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Afonsinho da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Vergílio in the 6th minute of play. Afonsinho da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Marioteanu in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rajado's Erasmo Varela got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Galbarruri in the 13th minute of play forced Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho da Mata came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by GUARULHOS FC's Váldson Loyola. But to his dismay, Váldson Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Vander in the 17th minute of play forced Rajado's goalkeeper Afonsinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Rui Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GUARULHOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 21st minute Alvaro Galbarruri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Galbarruri scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Niculae Marioteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Galbarruri in the 27th minute of play. Afonsinho da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Galbarruri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Marioteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Luís Fernando Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Llinares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Egídio Fernandes. Niculae Marioteanu scored 0-7 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of GUARULHOS FC booed when Rajado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseu Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rajado's protests and gave Eliseu Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rajado getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eliseu Cavalcante hit a great ball. Alvaro Galbarruri might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonsinho da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Galbarruri ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Rajado defense, Dieguinho da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonsinho da Mata. The Rajado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonsinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. After the first half GUARULHOS FC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Vander made a kick off. After some careless play in the Rajado defense, Niculae Marioteanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonsinho da Mata. The Rajado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonsinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. In the 55thth minute of the game Niculae Marioteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Vander in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Alvaro Galbarruri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afonsinho da Mata, 0-10. After having played for 64 minutes, Niculae Marioteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUARULHOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Marioteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Galbarruri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonsinho da Mata was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Váldson Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Celso Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rajado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUARULHOS FC the free kick. A collision led to Rajado getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Celso Zanette hit a great ball. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Marioteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of GUARULHOS FC booed when Rajado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonsinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Rui Vander sent off a good shot on target. Afonsinho da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Galbarruri went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Décio Vergílio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Alvaro Galbarruri notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata. Afonsinho da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonsinho da Mata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Galbarruri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 88 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Alvaro Galbarruri took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Afonsinho da Mata to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute Alvaro Galbarruri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Rui Vander notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata. Afonsinho da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GUARULHOS FC played a much better game than Rajado and deserved their victory. The Rajado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
