Conrado Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Angua's Teobaldo Figueroa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AGUILAS. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Sasoin in the 92nd minute of play forced AGUILAS's goalkeeper Melquiades Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Anier Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
