Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Feliciano Primo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Primo in the 3rd minute of play forced Rosendo Lopez's goalkeeper Benicio Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AGUILAS's Melquiades Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Steven in the 11th minute of play. Guaberto Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Izotz having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Anibal Juvenal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Izotz. Anibal Juvenal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Enol during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AGUILAS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gavino Enol hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Eustaquio Gorbea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Eustaquio Gorbea came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Rosendo Lopez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Gorbea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AGUILAS's Guaberto Rumaldo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Benicio Izotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Rumaldo in the 36th minute. AGUILAS's Melquiades Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Gutxi in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Rosendo Lopez were awarded a corner. Serafin Nesor went to the cornerflag to take it. Melquiades Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Gorbea in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Serafin Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosendo Lopez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Gorbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Gutxi in the 53rd minute of play forced AGUILAS's goalkeeper Melquiades Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AGUILAS's Melquiades Abajas got control of the ball when Eustaquio Gorbea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benicio Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Itzaina in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Eustaquio Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosendo Lopez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Eustaquio Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eustaquio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Melquiades Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Melquiades Abajas made a huge save. Melquiades Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eustaquio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Guillelmo's late challenge caught a AGUILAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Guillelmo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rosendo Lopez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave AGUILAS a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christian Lesardo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rosendo Lopez's Benicio Izotz. 2-2. Eustaquio Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Melquiades Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
