Ivan Heriberto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Corderall firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 5th minute, Esrella Roja FC's Dionisio Cefero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Corderall. Dante Corderall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Mariano Rainerio put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Millo Parana a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pascual Colas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi. 1-1. Millo Parana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dionisio Cefero scored to the left of an out of position Dante Corderall, making the score, 2-1. Dionisio Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Corderall having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Horacio Urtungo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Dionisio Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esrella Roja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Silverio Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dante Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Cefero might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Corderall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Cefero ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute, Roque Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Cefero to make the kick off. If Horacio Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Corderall having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jimeno Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Cefero scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Corderall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Silverio Laurendi made a huge save. A collision led to Esrella Roja FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Teobaldo Matthew hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Millo Parana got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Txerran. Millo Parana's Santo Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Esrella Roja FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adan Victoro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Rocio got free with Silverio Laurendi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Millo Parana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Tavio's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of Millo Parana booed when Esrella Roja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Millo Parana's Santo Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Duarte's late challenge caught a Esrella Roja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Adan Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Victoro in the 84th minute of play forced Millo Parana's goalkeeper Dante Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Laurendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Txerran in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute, Dionisio Cefero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esrella Roja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. There was no doubt that Esrella Roja FC were the better team. Esrella Roja FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
