Silverio Laurendi made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Roque Rocio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Tavio in the 5th minute of play forced Esrella Roja FC's goalkeeper Silverio Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Esrella Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Victoro. 8 minutes into the match, Millo Parana's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Heriberto came free, but Dante Corderall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Carolo Claris in the 11th minute really tested Silverio Laurendi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Horacio Urtungo scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Corderall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roque Rocio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Laurendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Silverio Laurendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Txerran in the 18th minute. Santo Tavio had several of the Esrella Roja FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Silverio Laurendi as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Dionisio Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Laurendi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lázaro Bernard. The supporters of Millo Parana booed when Esrella Roja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ivan Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ivan Heriberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Corderall was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Heriberto was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dante Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Tavio took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Laurendi. Silverio Laurendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, Roque Rocio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi. Silverio Laurendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes in the game, Dionisio Cefero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dante Corderall having to interfere. Dionisio Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Heriberto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Dante Corderall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute Jimeno Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dionisio Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Angelo Txerran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Laurendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Roque Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Laurendi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Txerran in the 86th minute of play forced Esrella Roja FC's goalkeeper Silverio Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Cefero struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dante Corderall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esrella Roja FC. Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Lehoi in the 94th minute of play. Dionisio Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dante Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
