Raimundo Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eduardo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Silverio Cilio in the 20th minute really tested Eduardo Izotz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raimundo Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Izotz having to interfere. Eduardo Izotz made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Raimundo Lugo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Raimundo Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Hitzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Bakar went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Raimundo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After the first half Ramos Mejia Gunners were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Iliana to make the kick off. Gerardo Bakar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Ramos Mejia Gunners's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Raimundo Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Izotz having to interfere. Gerardo Iliana struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Eduardo Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Boca Juniors. Gerardo Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Gerardo Bakar made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Hitzeder. C.A. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ramos Mejia Gunners had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
