Spectators: 7071 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Vachon started the match with the kick off. Carlos Vachon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Hitzeder having to make a save. Esteve Basualdo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerardo Iliana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Gerardo Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Esteve Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Esteve Basualdo made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Delmiro Txurio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico VillaModelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Boca Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Club Atletico VillaModelo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Delmiro Txurio hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, C.A. Boca Juniors's Celso Olo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 35th minute, Raimundo Lugo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Esteve Basualdo came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Boca Juniors's Raimundo Lugo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Lugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, C.A. Boca Juniors's Raimundo Lugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Basualdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicasio Hitzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Txurio in the 48th minute of play.

In the 58th minute, Gerardo Iliana made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Basualdo. Club Atletico VillaModelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gerardo Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Raimundo Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteve Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Iliana in the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Gerardo Iliana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atletico VillaModelo's Esteve Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Iliana in the 76th minute of play. C.A. Boca Juniors's Astor Eufemio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Esteve Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Lugo in the 91st minute of play. Delmiro Txurio was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd match minute, Club Atletico VillaModelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Txurio to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Boca Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
