The audience was convinced that Vicente Eneto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Ekialde was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. After 3 minutes, Eloy Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Racing club and the River Plate CABALLITO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Deportivo Racing club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Urdin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, River Plate CABALLITO's Alberto Gonchan got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pastor Oihenarte struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ruben Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Racing club. Ruben Balesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Iyan's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Pastor Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Deportivo Racing club's Jose Iyan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Balesio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruben Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Vicente Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Racing club's goalkeeper Aristides Ekialde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Maore. Deportivo Racing club's Aristides Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Racing club from getting a goal against them. Ruben Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Iyan in the 36th minute of play. Pastor Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Eneto to strike the kick off in the second half. Carolo Cheche's late challenge caught a Deportivo Racing club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Cheche helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes River Plate CABALLITO got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Cheche.
