The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Haritz got free with Gualterio Jakue in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Tambillos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Ladio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Pedro Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Pedro Ladio made the kick off in the second half. When Jaime Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tambillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Raymundo couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Guifre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Isidoro Goren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hernan Guifre made a huge save. Tambillos FC's Jaime Raymundo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Gaizko's late challenge caught a Tambillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gualterio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
