Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zacarias Santxol started the match with the kick off. When Rene Justin fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugano City's protests and gave Rene Justin a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Barrial AFC's Federico Cordeal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Evelio Cordearo. If Augusto Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrial AFC's Maximo Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Lapurdi in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes in the game, Constantino Cristos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evelio Cordearo having to interfere. Lugano City's Evelio Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Lugano City from getting a goal against them. If Celestino Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Zacarias Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Santxol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Zacarias Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Pio made a kick off. Augusto Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lugano City booed when Barrial AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Min having to interfere. If Cipriano Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Augusto Pio made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Cordearo. Lugano City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Celestino Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Barrial AFC defense, Celestino Lapurdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Min. The Barrial AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Min should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Pero in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacarias Santxol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximo Min. That made the score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
