Orlando Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Ursino came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Elida's Jorge Guillelmo. But to his dismay, Jorge Guillelmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Orlando Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Virgilio Tomi made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Arturo Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Paez in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Virgilio Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Tomi in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Beti saved Elida from getting behind. Orlando Soter struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Leon Beti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuryaki FC. In the 76th minute, Silvestre Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Virgilio Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuryaki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Orlando Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuryaki FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
