The referee ignored Ceres FC's protests and gave Gerardo Goito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Gerardo Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Naelio scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Teyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Gaspar Naelio made a precise shot to the right of Abel Teyo. Ceres FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hermengildo Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ceres FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Urbano Gonzo hit a great ball. When Gaspar Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Frías FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Naelio couldn't finish the play. Abel Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ceres FC's Abel Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Naelio in the 23rd minute of play. If Hermengildo Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Pio in the 31st minute of play forced Ceres FC's goalkeeper Abel Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Naelio in the 32nd minute of the match. Abel Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Baleren in the 33rd minute of play. Carlos Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Rosio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frías FC the free kick. Hermengildo Pio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Abel Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frías FC. 42 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Pio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ceres FC's Abel Teyo. Abel Teyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Frías FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Osvaldo Gurutz hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Ceres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Rios made a kick off. Abel Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Gaspar Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Frías FC fans jumped to their feet. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Wilfredo Rosio with Lázaro Elodio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The referee gave Ceres FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The referee ignored Ceres FC's protests and gave Silverio Balesio a yellow card for diving instead. Silverio Balesio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gilberto Baleren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abel Teyo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cosme Euloxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Rios in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Frías FC defense, Haroldo Chinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Euloxu. The Frías FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Euloxu should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ceres FC's Abel Teyo got control of the ball when Hermengildo Pio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Hermengildo Pio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Naelio in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Ceres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Goito to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Abel Teyo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
