Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Lixandro in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Perrando saved Udpimango from getting behind. If Atilano Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Del Piero 10's goalkeeper Alberto Jeraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Ostots. After having played for 20 minutes, Silvestre Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udpimango 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Colon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Perrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Lixandro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Udpimango defense, Cecilio Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Perrando. The Udpimango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Perrando should have stopped the shot. When Mauricio Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Del Piero 10 fans jumped to their feet. Gogo Valiente might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Jeraldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Valiente ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Anaya during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilano Salvatore made a kick off. Mauricio Lixandros short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Abel Perrando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Valiente in the 57th minute of play forced Del Piero 10's goalkeeper Alberto Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Lixandro got free with Abel Perrando in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Del Piero 10 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
