Alberto Jeraldo came out of the goal and Victoriano Weather tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Victoriano Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Del Piero 10's Mauricio Lixandro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 25th minute Santo Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Weather's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Jeraldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Del Piero 10 got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Iraunkor. When Santo Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El Oso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Licerio couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Gogo Esquipula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Oso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Serafin Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Gorbea in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, El Oso FC's Ricardo Peli got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ricardo Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Serafin Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Montrelle having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Weather was the one to do the kick off. El Oso FC were furious when Esteve Cordaryal was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Esteve Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Santo Licerio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, El Oso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Mirande came free, but Serafin Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Alfonso Sadurni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Oso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Del Piero 10 the free kick. Alfonso Sadurni hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes, Del Piero 10's Santos Veronica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafin Montrelle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Del Piero 10 reached it. Serafin Montrelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Mirande in the 70th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Santo Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Del Piero 10's Alberto Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Licerio in the 78th minute of play. Hilario Argider struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Alberto Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Oso FC. Santo Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Jeraldo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Del Piero 10:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Oso FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Alberto Jeraldo, was totally fooled by El Oso FC's Victoriano Weather, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
