Ciriaco Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Eron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Dabi got free with Miguel Turi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ayui getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Honorio Carlomagno hit a great ball. Hipolito Ezkerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Turi came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Ezkerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. Lucas Hanni scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Eron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, excursio fc's Ceferino Emmanuel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ayui's Ciriaco Roano got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Hanni struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. In the 43rd minute, Ciriaco Roano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The audience was convinced that Lucas Hanni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Eron was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Edgardo Eron was a little too slow when Lucas Hanni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-4. If Lucas Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Eron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Roano in the 91st minute. Jairo Menendo scored 2-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Turi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Ayui left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than excursio fc.
