If Adan Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chusca AFC's zone, Honorato Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Artaldo came out of the goal and Honorato Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Bero's late challenge caught a El Destilador F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Bero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Chusca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Bero to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes El Destilador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Guillen. In the 28th minute Jairo Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Artaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Chano in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, El Destilador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Laffitte came free, but Jorge Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Honorato Chano came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the El Destilador F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Chano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 63 minutes, Honorato Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Destilador F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Chano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Laffitte hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a little luck, El Destilador F.C.'s Jorge Faron got control of the ball when Clemente Fortun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Faron was a little too slow when Jairo Luix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-2. Antonio Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Pietro in the 76th minute of the match. Honorato Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Fortun made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jorge Faron would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jorge Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Pietro in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Clemente Fortun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Faron. El Destilador F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Fortun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Erasmo Errapel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Justino Castel put in a rough tackle. In the 91st minute, Justino Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Kemen might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Faron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Kemen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes El Destilador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Moises Rudolfo.
