Honorato Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marciano Urdaspal made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Ermegildo Pere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Destilador F.C. and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of El Destilador F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gloria Verdinegra AFC:s goal. Marciano Urdaspal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Chano in the 44th minute. After the first half Gloria Verdinegra AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Berasko was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Berasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Chano in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Angelino Xabel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Moises Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Destilador F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloria Verdinegra AFC the free kick. 79 minutes into the game, Augusto Lizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 89th minute Adan Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Abelardo Michael in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Destilador F.C.'s Adan Pietro. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Marciano Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Pietro in the 94th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Berasko. The El Destilador F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gloria Verdinegra AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gloria Verdinegra AFC.
