In the 4th minute, Aglovale Bellew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Syvwlch Foster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Tremayne Gibb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwres Keatinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bors Allard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenyon Blyth in the 14th minute of play. UWA Haverfordwest's Syvwlch Foster suffered a sore foot after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Caerleon getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Drych Hoskins hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, UWA Haverfordwest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tremayne Gibb to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of UWA Haverfordwest booed when Caerleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modred Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tremayne Gibb in the 24th minute of play forced Caerleon's goalkeeper Gwres Keatinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kenyon Blyth came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Caerleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenyon Blyth couldn't finish the play. Gwres Keatinge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ardwyad Farr went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes in the game, Kenyon Blyth fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bors Allard having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caerleon's Drych Hoskins got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Ardwyad Farr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clyde Lattimore kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Syvwlch Cordwainer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gwres Keatinge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tremayne Gibb, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Clyde Lattimore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Clyde Lattimore fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Haverfordwest's protests and gave Clyde Lattimore a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caerleon booed when UWA Haverfordwest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clyde Lattimore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenyon Blyth struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bors Allard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon. 82 minutes into the match, UWA Haverfordwest's goal looked a bit too open when Kenyon Blyth came free, but Bors Allard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llyn Featherston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kenyon Blyth came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Caerleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenyon Blyth couldn't finish the play. If Clust Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Caerleon's Kenyon Blyth in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UWA Haverfordwest's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
