The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lovel Hobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caerwyn Conyers in the 3rd minute of the match. Gwres Keatinge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Mincu in the 6th minute of the match. Clust Farthing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Mariano Urquiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clust Farthing scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lovel Hobbs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd play minute Clust Farthing came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lovel Hobbs. 2-0. The supporters of Caerleon booed when Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Mincu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lovel Hobbs stood somewhat misplaced when Caerwyn Conyers came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. If Syvwlch Cordwainer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Mincu to maneuver through the defense. Lovel Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caerwyn Conyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lovel Hobbs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clust Farthing in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caerwyn Conyers in the 45th minute of play forced Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalkeeper Lovel Hobbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clust Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Urquiaga to make the kick off. During the 59th minute of the match Mariano Urquiaga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mariano Urquiaga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mariano Urquiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Nicolae Mincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwres Keatinge having to interfere. When Caerleon's Clust Farthing in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalie prevented a goal. If Clust Farthing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Caerwyn Conyers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lovel Hobbs having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Caerwyn Conyers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caerleon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lovel Hobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caerwyn Conyers in the 82nd minute of the match. Vicente Locatelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gwres Keatinge came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Locatelli slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 86th minute. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caerwyn Conyers in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lovel Hobbs saved Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain from getting behind. A collision led to Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nicolae Mincu hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Caerleon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
