Rubens Moraes got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 42 minutes, Martyn Conway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pelsall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martyn Conway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Alessandro Danza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheltenham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pelsall the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cheltenham City's Alessandro Danza got a free kick in the 46th minute. The FC Pelsall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fryderyk Gajewski should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Pelsall players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cheltenham City.
