Spectators: 5600 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martyn Conway started the match with the kick off. Sean Chambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Gajewski having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Watton-at-Stone got a freekick which was hit by Philip Cornforth. Martyn Conway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Martyn Conway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pelsall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martyn Conway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Edur in the 23rd minute of play. With 25 minutes on the clock, Kelvin Waddington commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Watton-at-Stone:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Pelsall:s goal. 34 minutes into the game, FC Pelsall's Martyn Conway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryan Harper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Ladislao Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone's Marty Gale got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of FC Pelsall booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Winterbine didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pelsall's Fryderyk Gajewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Winterbine in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Martyn Conway made a precise shot to the right of Ryan Harper. Watton-at-Stone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Winterbine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marty Gale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryan Harper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martyn Conway's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, FC Pelsall's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Winterbine came free, but Fryderyk Gajewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, FC Pelsall's Martyn Conway sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryan Harper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kris Winterbine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fryderyk Gajewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Lenny Parkinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pelsall and the Watton-at-Stone players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Lenny Parkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Watton-at-Stone booed when FC Pelsall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Parkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Heli Sánchez sped through Watton-at-Stone's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ryan Harper. Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heli Sánchez in the 79th minute of play. Ryan Harper came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pelsall's Ashley Carroll. But to his dismay, Ashley Carroll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ryan Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heli Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ryan Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Edur in the 90th minute of play. Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Edur in the 96th minute of play. FC Pelsall walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
