Peter Robson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12thth minute of the game Neil Logan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hythe United Rangers's Peter Robson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hythe United Rangers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Drew Dobbs was slow to take the kick. During this time Brickhouse FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Brickhouse FC's Drew Dobbs to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Robson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tosh Higginson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Dragoş Gafița when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dragoş Gafița made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Crocker in the 20th minute of play. Peter Robson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Logan in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Lance Eyre could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Dragoş Gafița however easily saved by the left post. After 34 minutes, Fabian Hylander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brickhouse FC and the Hythe United Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brickhouse FC's Fabian Hylander got a free kick in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lance Eyre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dragoş Gafița. That made the score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. Tosh Higginson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dragoş Gafița made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Zak Crocker made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brickhouse FC's Dragoş Gafița tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tosh Higginson made the kick off in the second half. Dragoş Gafița took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zak Crocker in the 54th minute of play forced Brickhouse FC's goalkeeper Dragoş Gafița to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Gafița stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Crocker's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Neil Logan came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Robson could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute Neil Logan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Robson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Hythe United Rangers's Tosh Higginson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dragoş Gafița made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Dragoş Gafița showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Newton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Hythe United Rangers were awarded a corner. Dylan Crossley went to the cornerflag to take it. Zak Crocker made a great header on Hythe United Rangers's corner, it was just that Brickhouse FC's Dragoş Gafița managed to reach the ball for a save. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Gary Mead with Lance Eyre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 75 minutes into the match, Brickhouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Crocker came free, but Dragoş Gafița reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nick Newton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
