Justs Braslavecs hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goal looked a bit too open when Tosh Higginson came free, but Semih Eğriöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Crossley charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Crossley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dylan Crossley hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Peter Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Quirze in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Tosh Higginson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Semih Eğriöz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 26 minutes, Lance Eyre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hythe United Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Eyre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Robson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylon Ronson in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Eyre got free with Semih Eğriöz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tosh Higginson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Semih Eğriöz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Semih Eğriöz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goalkeeper Semih Eğriöz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Eyre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tosh Higginson got free with Semih Eğriöz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Apolo Quirze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Quirze in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hythe United Rangers's zone, Apolo Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Robson came out of the goal and Apolo Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Eguerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Cody Wilson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Luton Town getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Toader Encuțoiu hit a great ball. Semih Eğriöz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tosh Higginson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute, Tosh Higginson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hythe United Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Luton Town's Jeffrey Peake got a free kick in the 65th minute. Luton Town's Brad England was substituted for Dennis Whittington. After 67 played minutes Luton Town got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Peake. 70 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goal looked a bit too open when Tosh Higginson came free, but Semih Eğriöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Turabi Altınpınar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Robson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Peter Robson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad England, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tosh Higginson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semih Eğriöz having to interfere. Luton Town's Shane Lamb was substituted for Tosh Fordham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Newton in the 83rd minute of play forced Luton Town's goalkeeper Semih Eğriöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Hythe United Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Rhys Wooding. 85 minutes into the match, Tosh Higginson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz. Semih Eğriöz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot by Dylon Ronson from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Peter Robson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dylon Ronson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Peter Robson made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Turabi Altınpınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Lance Eyre notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz. Semih Eğriöz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
