The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Eyre in the 3rd minute of play. When Zak Crocker came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hythe United Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zak Crocker couldn't finish the play. Semih Eğriöz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Eyre in the 23rd minute of play forced Luton Town's goalkeeper Semih Eğriöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes Luton Town's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dylan Crossley who took care of the corner kick. Hythe United Rangers's Dylan Crossley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Semih Eğriöz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 31 minutes Hythe United Rangers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dennis Whittington who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Inocencio Eguerdi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Robson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zak Crocker in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Zak Crocker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Semih Eğriöz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Crocker came free, but Semih Eğriöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Hythe United Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Crossley. Dennis Whittington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justs Braslavecs in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Robson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Hythe United Rangers's goalkeeper Peter Robson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Quirze.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Quirze to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th match minute, Hythe United Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Wilson to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Conan Towler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luton Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hythe United Rangers the free kick. A collision led to Luton Town getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Conan Towler hit a great ball. Luton Town made a substitution. Shane Lamb replaced Tosh Fordham. In the 77th minute Lawrence Corbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semih Eğriöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylon Ronson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Semih Eğriöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Crocker in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Crocker came free, but Semih Eğriöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turabi Altınpınar in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Robson saved Hythe United Rangers from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Luton Town's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Newton came free, but Semih Eğriöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Zak Crocker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hythe United Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Hythe United Rangers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
