Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lance Robertson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Harvey Gray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wadebridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kidderminster's zone, Jake Baldwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dane Clist came out of the goal and Jake Baldwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wadebridge's Andre Champion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Faulkner in the 11th minute of play. Andre Champion came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Kidderminster's Graeme Rice. But to his dismay, Graeme Rice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wadebridge's Andre Champion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Rice in the 17th minute of play. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Rice in the 18th minute of play. Andre Champion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Armstrong in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wadebridge's Tony Rayner got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Dennis Faulkner came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kidderminster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Faulkner couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Rice came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfie Plummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kidderminster getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dennis Faulkner hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Dennis Faulkner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Andre Champion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Champion came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Kidderminster's Dennis Faulkner. But to his dismay, Dennis Faulkner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 39th minute, Graeme Rice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Dennis Faulkner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Faulkner in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doug Armstrong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andre Champion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Graeme Rice went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Graeme Rice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andre Champion. Wadebridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graeme Rice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Faulkner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Graeme Rice made a precise shot to the right of Andre Champion. Wadebridge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. After a rather tough play, Kidderminster's Doug Armstrong got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes Graeme Rice rounded Wadebridge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-9. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Faulkner in the 75th minute of play. Wadebridge's Andre Champion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Wadebridge from getting a goal against them. Andre Champion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Rice, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Andre Champion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doug Armstrong went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. After 89 played minutes Kidderminster got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Seagrave. 93 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doug Armstrong. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Chaz Hayes hit a great ball. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Faulkner in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme Rice in the 96th minute of play forced Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Kidderminster could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wadebridge throughout the match.
