The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fagerfjäll booed when Black Mambas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Hafström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Inge Ahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Sune Hafström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17thth minute of the game Inge Ahlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Mambas FC's Dennis Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Lundqvist in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28th play minutes Inge Ahlin shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Dennis Hagström and just under the crossbar into goal. If Inge Ahlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Black Mambas FC's Melker Lundgren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Melker Lundgren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Black Mambas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Melker Lundgren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Fagerfjäll. Emil Johansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dennis Hagström. 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Fagerfjäll's Jerry Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Black Mambas FC's Dennis Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Ahlin in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Ahlin was the one to do the kick off. Jerry Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dennis Hagström made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Inge Ahlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagerfjäll's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Ahlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Fagerfjäll's Dennis Hagström threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fred Morat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Inge Ahlin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dennis Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fagerfjäll. In the 67th minute, Jerry Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Hagström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, Black Mambas FC's goalkeeper Dennis Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Lundqvist. After 72 played minutes Fagerfjäll got a freekick which was hit by Simon Strandberg. Jerry Lundqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Fagerfjäll's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lars-Erik Hjortsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Hjortsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Black Mambas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fagerfjäll:s goal. The goalkeeper, Dennis Hagström, was totally fooled by Fagerfjäll's Emil Johansson, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Lundqvist got free with Dennis Hagström in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Fagerfjäll's Inge Ahlin in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Mambas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jerry Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Hagström having to interfere. Jerry Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Lundqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sune Hafström fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Mambas FC's protests and gave Sune Hafström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Black Mambas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Hafström to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Fred Morat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
