BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ton Eschendaal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ton Eschendaal in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Saracha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Matthías Sammer was substituted for Karol Gardocki. Ruch Pniów's Kacper Petka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerzy Gorgoń in the 75 minute of the game. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ton Eschendaal's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Ziemowit Nigbor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Ton Eschendaal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's zone, Ton Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Ton Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wincenty Cieliczka fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruch Pniów's protests and gave Wincenty Cieliczka a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Matthías Sammer made a precise shot to the right of Kryspin Dulka. Ruch Pniów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ruch Pniów fans cheered their team off the field, for while BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
