The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Rzeszutek in the 4th minute of play forced Ruch Pniów's goalkeeper Kryspin Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s goalkeeper Napoleon Mocko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grabiel Saracha. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Napoleon Mocko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ton Eschendaal in the 20th minute of play. Ruch Pniów were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafal Dropinski took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Saracha in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Mocko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napoleon Mocko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Nigbor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Damian Rzeszutek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kryspin Dulka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Rafal Dropinski made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Julian Starogardzki. Napoleon Mocko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grabiel Saracha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ton Eschendaal to strike the kick off in the second half. Kryspin Dulka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Aarstad in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. were awarded a corner. Kristian Aarstad went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ton Eschendaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Antonis Sapanis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 86th minute Grabiel Saracha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Mocko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Saracha came free, but Napoleon Mocko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Ruch Pniów's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Dejo came free, but Kryspin Dulka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Ruch Pniów were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
