The supporters of Sommernes FK booed when Svalstog BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Ødegården didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Sommernes FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bjarne Falck came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Silden in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Svalstog BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sommernes FK the free kick. 31 minutes into the match, Svalstog BK's goalkeeper Ivar Opland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Silden. If Bjarne Falck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Westlie hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Raymond Silden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raymond Silden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Silden got free with Ivar Opland in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Opland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åsmund Myhra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Raul Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Raymond Silden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sommernes FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Silden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Opland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Svalstog BK's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Esiquio came free, but Ivar Opland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Opland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åsmund Myhra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Silden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Opland having to interfere. Sommernes FK's Pawel Puchlik got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
